Xarchiver doesn't display files when opening RAR, status bar says "Opening Archive, please wait..."
All operations work using the top menus, but no files to view.
This happens only with RAR, other archive formats show files.
Downgrading to 0.5.4.14-1 is the same.

Use unrar itself to see what's wrong with either unrar or the file.

Unrar works fine, I can extract all rar files using: command line; file manager "extract here"; and xarchiver menu.
The problem is that xarchiver is not showing any files when opening rars.
I'm able to extract using xarchiver menu but I cannot see the rar contents.

Although I use Xfce4, I have installed an engrampa from the MATE stable, and it works very well.

Thank you for the suggestion, but Engrampa fork install size is 3 times more than File-Roller.

Downgrading unrar package to 5.9.4 should help. xarchiver <= 0.5.4.15 does not support unrar 6.x.x.

I have encounter same problems, using unrar+p7zip with file-roller works for me.
