Hi.
I just compiled and rebooted into a 5.10.0 kernel, but sound doesn't work. I use pulseaudio and in pulsemixer i see "dummy output".
When i first booted, I seen something like "unable to bind the codec HDaudioXX", so i think that is could be a problem, but now I on booting doesn't see this.
It probably isn't problem from a kernel counfiguration, because now I am on 5.10.0-rc3, also self-compiled and sound works perfectly, 5.10.0 and 5.10.0-rc3 configs are almost the same.
What to do now?

Post your PKGBUILD, for starters.

I use kernel from tarball, so I can post my .configs from 5.10.0(-rc3):
5.10: https://kocotian.pl/shared/kernelconfig/config-5.10
5.10-rc3: https://kocotian.pl/shared/kernelconfig/config-5.10-rc3

A load of modules are not being built in that config for 5.10 including all of the snd_hda_intel codecs. You can diff them, they are everything but "almost the same"

I mean, i configured it almost like the 5.10.0-rc3 config, probably because i realised that i copied default arch's config before configuring 5.10.0-rc3 and I didn't did that while configuring 5.10.0. I changed everything in HD Audio to yes for now, I will recompile the kernel and answer is everything working properly.
