Schumacher-clean font

The program xtide requires the Schumacher clean fonts.   I see that schumacher-misc fonts are included in xorg-fonts-misc.   However, this font is not recognized by xtide.

This is something new, I think, as I have been using xtide on Archlinux for years.   

I do not have the skill to designate an alias for a font.  The font clB6x10.pcf.gz may be the font I am looking for, or else it is one of a family.   Is it possible to do something like design an alias for this set of fonts?

Do you have xorg-fonts-alias-misc ?
I can select the schumacher foundry in xfontsel, the have a "clean" font etcetc.

Sadly xorg-fonts-alias-misc is not working.  I have been trying to get the xtide gui working on arch for months and I keep stumbling on this same issue:

XTide Fatal Error:  CANT_LOAD_FONT
A font that is required by XTide does not appear on the system.
Perhaps there is an optional font package that you need to install.

Error details:
-schumacher-clean-medium-r-normal-*-10-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Have you restarted X after installing the xorg-fonts-misc or called xset fp rehash

Edit: Before that you also have to install the xorg-mkfontscale package. That contains programs and pacman hooks to create the files necessary for xorg to find fonts.
