In KDE, when the global policy is set to 'single click' should the mouse pointer change to a "pointing hand" so to speak, when it's hovered over items, icons and such? In my case the pointer stays as an arrow as it normally would in case of a double click policy.
Just to be clear the behavior is exact opposite of one described in this: https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread. … ick-in-KDE old thread. The policy is set to single click but the mouse pointer stays as an arrow (not a pointy hand) indicating otherwise.
Believe it or not this drives me nuts as it's inconsistent with the years and years of my previous experience.
Not sure if there's anything that can be done or how do I even troubleshoot it and investigate this issue, all I know is it messes with my brain. I would like to give KDE a fair shot, so far I like what I see, seems like a solid desktop solution, but I have to fix this somehow.
Any help will be much appreciated, any suggestions, advice or tips of any kind. Cheers.

It appears this behavior is not out of ordinary in the KDE world! I've installed the Open SUSE with KDE and guess what - the single click policy is enabled by default and the cursor does not change when hovered over various desktop items!
There's always something ain't it? The inconsistencies of the modern Linux desktop solutions. A little bit of this a little bit of that. Life's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get.
