[SOLVED]DWM tag customization

On DWM default build,every tag on top left has a little cube (on its top left) indicating if there is an active window on that tag or not,

I'm trying to expand that cube's width from 1x1(as it seems it is) to max(taking the full size of the current tag) but I cant find any options or patches or have good enough C knowledge to change that

any hints would be highly appreciated

also any patches for customizing that little cube are be welcome

There are a number of patches for customising the tags. If you prefer to roll your own, you could start here:

Apologies I might have misinformed , I wanted to state that I dont have a problem making things on my own but that I really cant find what I am looking for in the code, so either the name of the class of "how tags in status bar are drawn" or patch either way works

Edit:Uploaded an Image describing what I'm talking about in case I didn't come out comprehensive enough,red underline is what im talking about,white over-line is how long i want to extend it(well to max)

That's why I linked to a specific line in dwm.c: drw_rect is what you are looking for. If you read some of the other patches, eg., this one, you can get a sense of what is reuired.
