Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that my WiFi is working :-) just making sure that there is no mistake in including something from staging directory instead of production one

Things are in the staging directory because the driver doesn't meet the stable quality expectations but is included nonetheless to provide preliminary support. There's no mistake here and many realtek chips land there because they often have quite weird drivers that need to be cleaned up first.
