[PCI-Passthrough] No input signal received on monitor after VM restart

I've managed to successfully setup a Windows VM using PCI-Passthrough to pass the graphics card (RX5600XT)

I have a single monitor setup where I use some sort of hub for HDMI connections called a KVM switch to switch between the two GPU outputs.

However there is one caveat: If I shutdown or restart the VM, my monitor doesn't receive any input signals from my guest GPU anymore unless I restart the host.

So it seems like the GPU is not sending any output signals after the VM is shutdown and powered back on. But I couldn't determine the cause.

Is this something fixable via configs, bios, or kernel params? Or is this a hardware issue?
