Recommendation for a good curlftpfs fork?

It's known that the original curlftpfs fork is mostly abandoned (homepage)

The wiki mentions a bug (with the `#` character), but it doesn't mention any replacement.

There are some other bugs too (but I can't tell what they are exactly - when I use vim or something it complains about "can't save file" or similar)

There are several fork ( on GitHub, can't find any on GitLab or BitBucket)

So tl;dr does anyone have the experience and know which fork is better-maintained?

By the way how am I supposed to compile it? I downloaded one in one of the GitHub repositories but there's no `configure`.

Update: Seems like it's `make -f Makefile.cvs` generates  `./configure`... but what does it mean?

Huh, I didn't think of that.

On the other hand, having an AUR package doesn't mean that that particular fork is the best one - just that it's easy to install,
but it's good enough (and also being the most recently updated fork)
(there's no easy way to compare the number of commits between repositories...)

Perhaps the wiki page should mention that?

It's a community-based Wiki - *you* are supposed to update it, discuss it or suggest edits on its Talk page.
