[SOLVED] GNOME workspace behaviour
I installed Dash-to-panel extension and chose to isolate workspaces (so I won't switch to other workspaces when Alt+tabbing through windows). Recently I noticed this: Workspace 1 and 2 each have open windows. When I suspend my PC then after resume all windows from workspace 2 are put into workspace 1 while workspace 2 is empty. How can I fix this behaviour?
Also to mention I disabled dynamic workspaces in GNOME-Tweaks so I can immediately switch between 4 workspaces.

Are these workspaces all on a single display? If you disable Dash-to-panel, do you see the same behavior of windows changing workspace?
I do not see this behavior on my single Intel graphic display system without Dash-to-panel installed.

I do not see this behavior on my single Intel graphic display system without Dash-to-panel installed.
Thanks. This helped. Not disabling dash-to-panel, but GNOME-Tweaks -> Workspaces -> Workspaces span displays (check).
It's because my laptop is connected to an external display and in display settings the external display is set as the only active monitor. To wake up the computer, I need to quickly open and close the lid. It seems the windows/workspaces are thrown around while waking up. The setting mentioned above seems to circumvent this problem.
