Corsair USB Headset / Headphones not Recognized

My Corsair USB headset / headphones were not detected at all. I couldn't find a solution on this forum so I'll post here now for future users.

sudo pacman -S usbutils
lsusb

This produces a list of the USB devices connected to your computer. You should see Corsair Corsair VOID PRO USB Gaming Headset or some such thing. It should have an ID in the form 1b1c:0a1d but yours may have a different value.

sudo vim /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Add the following entry, substituting the MatchUSBID value I provided for the ID associated with YOUR headset.

Section "InputClass"
    Identifier "Corsair"
    MatchUSBID "1b1c:0a1d"
    Option "StartKeysEnabled" "False"
    Option "StartMouseEnabled" "False"
EndSection
