Arch Install fails in Oracle VirtualBox

This is my first time trying Arch. I followed the install guide on the Arch Wiki to download the Arch ISO. I use gpg to check the iso. I created a VM and add the ISO. When I start the VM, it says Welcome to arch Linux then I get a kernel panic. After watching back the recording I found that the first error is Stack Guard page was hit. Then it freezes at the error below.

Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception interrupt

I tried searching for the errors on the forms and on google. I watched videos on youtube on how to install arch. I tried creating a new VM and using a new ISO. I disabled everything and nothing. Same error. Other Linux VMs start without issue. Everything is up to date and versions match.

Edit:

After trying VMware player Arch started correctly. It continues to fail on VirtualBox.

Have you had a read of the official ArchLinux as Guest wiki?

This sadly did not work. That was the first thing I tried. Thank you for your suggestion. I did get the same ISO installed on a real computer. I am happy with that but still want to get VMbox working.

Have you had a read of the official ArchLinux as Guest wiki?

I gave the guide a read. I am on version 6.1 of VirtualBox. I should be able to boot the EFI normally. I used the command line to set the firmware and I got the same problem. Thanks for the suggestion I did not see that guide.

If you are in Windows host try disable features related to Hyper-V, virtual machine platform and (maybe) contanines.
