AMD GPU, RX 5500 XT dual display 1440p with DP or HDMI crashes on the boot screen. I have Linux-lts 5.4 and Linux 5.9 kernel, both crash on the boot screen after grub loads.
This was not a issue when using single 1440p monitor with a 1080p monitor on DP and HDMI respectively.
I got around by adding a second DP cable to a monitor, now it boots fine. Is there a fix to this issue ?
I have read that this is an issue with AMD gpu's.
Note: Manjaro has the same issue, Linux-lts 5.4 crashes on the Boot screen, but Linux 5.9 kernel some times works but once booted, it would crash if you locked the screen or put it on sleep mode. Guess it is an issue overall with all linux distros.

I was gonna open my own thread when I saw this. Maybe this is the same issue. So I post it here for now.
I have a similar setup with dual monitor 1440p ultrawide via DP and a regular 1080p via HDMI. I can boot up just fine, but get crashes pretty regularly after about 24 hours and especially after suspend. It first looks like the connection to the screens is lost and then the picture comes back frozen with red/green artifacts and only my mouse pointer displays normally. Most processes and audio keep running just fine. Calling xrandr from scripts doesn't help. Shortly after, spectrwm just shuts down (on Xmonad and bspwm, I have to kill xinit). After a new startx everything used to be fine. As of today, Alacritty just draws an empty window and crashes, and I have to reboot. Sporadically I get a green screen on the HDMI monitor and a more violent crash ending in a reboot.
I have noticed that Xorg.0.log keeps listing the HDMI connection info (modelines etc.) for about a dozen times. I've tested different cables, different monitors, different inputs and all their permutations. Same for lts, zen and regular kernel.
