How does Arch install/configure components during installation?

Where can I find all those scripts that Arch uses to help me setup my system? For instance, how does systemd find it's way on a freshly installed Arch-system?

I've found the pacstrap script: https://git.archlinux.org/arch-install- … acstrap.in
It only installs those components that I pass to it.

pacstrap installs the base group: https://archlinux.org/packages/core/any/base/
