Cast / mirror entire laptop screen on Smart TV

Hey!
I am able to easily share my entire Android phone screen on my smart TV using Smart View option just by turning this option on my phone and tapping on my TV in the list to connect whenever my TV is turn on. It's quite fast and easy. I'd like to cast my entire laptop's screen on my Smart TV similarly.

I've being searching for some solutions but I didn't manage to find anything that would work. I've tried casting from Chrome but I've managed only to share YouTube video (when I clicked "cast tab to my TV" it opened YouTube app on TV and started playing the video). It's not quite what I am willing to have. When I chose to cast desktop I have message "no device found". I am a bit stuck and don't know what to look for.

So what I am supposed to do/install to be able to cast my entire laptop's screen wireless on my Smart TV with a couple of clicks (and without extra hardware)?
