Can't change keyboard layout in KDE

Hello there, I just installed KDE Plasma after installing GNOME. While I can change my layout in the terminal (ctrl alt fnumber stuff), and while I can change my layout for the GNOME environment, I cannot change my layout for the KDE environment. I have tried it from the GUI, however it seems like something is overriding it. When I type "loadkeys trq" in the terminal emulator, I do not get any error messages, yet my keyboard layout is still stuck in en-us.

Help would be greately appreciated.
