I am using Gnome and have all the multimedia codecs installed that are needed for youtube playback. However once my desktop blanks the screen after 5 or so minutes, if I have a video paused when it does this no videos will play when it wakes up. I have Tested it by suspending the machine while a video is paused and that doesn't cause the glitch. It is only when the Gnome desktop blanks the screen several minutes before suspending. It is a minor annoyance but still an annoyance.
