Use terminal key shortcuts in any text field

Is there a way to set all text field to follow the terminal cursor navigation shortcuts (like Ctrl+A, Ctrl+E, Ctrl+K etc)? It is the default in Mac OS which I found is a very nice feature. I use KDE myself but my company machines uses different DE. It seems I could individually change each keyboard shortcuts to those but wondering if there are better ways to achieve this.

Re: Use terminal key shortcuts in any text field

You could bind global shortcuts to "xdotool key Up", "xdotool key Left" etc.
Ctrl isn't a group selector (like eg. Shift or AltGr) so rewriting the keymap is (very…) likely not possible.
