Fingerprint reader not detected on Dell 7501

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron 7000 (7501), and OBV first thing first I installed Arch.
After a little time, I start wondering how the GNU/Linux world was going with the fingerprint reader and, after some research, I found fingerprint-gui (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/fingerprint-gui/).
Unluckily, my fingerprint reader is not recognized, so I can't set everything up.
The questions are:
    - Is there a way to fix the problem?
    - Can I help/improve the community in any way? I'd like to help, but I don't know where to start. Any advice?

Thank you all for the help and the time!
Cheers

Hi,

The first thing to check is whether the sensor on your device is supported by fprint (included in fingerprint-gui). See Fprint#Prerequisites.
