terminal emulator doesn't work

I was able to open terminal with ctrl+return bynsim as it is written in the sway config. Until I decided to switch into alacritty. Now neither alacritty nor urxvt opens, but they exist.
edit: I meant I am switching terminals in sway config via tty2. I just realized rofi aso doesn't open via byndsim

"bindsym" - given your stream of typos I assume you invalidated the sway config? Please post it.

Did you meanwhile install xwayland?

Alacritty is actually the default $term - how did you switch to it and did you install it at all?

Yes I had installed either alacritty and xwayland, but now it doesn't matter because my vm crushed and I installed a new one, so alacritty now works there. I don't know what error was it. In any cases, thanks!!
