cpufreq not working on Clevo motherboard with Ryzen 9

I have an origin laptop with a Clevo NH57AF motherboard and Ryzen 9 cpu. For (virtual) cpu cores >24 cpufreq is not working: as in running

ls /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu24

does not have a "cpufreq" entry whereas core 23 does.

Looking around I found this bug describing the same problem saying it's related to a bad acpi table. My laptop tech support suggested the fix here but the readme says Arch Linux is not supported. Does anyone know how to adapt that fix to work for Arch Linux?

Have you tried following the instructions on DSDT#Recompiling_it_yourself?

I have not; this is well outside my linux experience so far (I don't even know what DSDT is).

If this a pretty safe and well-understood process I'm willing to try I guess.
