Hello there!
I have Python 3.9 installed on my system currently as well as Python 2.x. I do however have some programs that require that I run Python 3.8. I want to install Python 3.8 and then use it within a virtual environment. The problem that I have is that I don't know how to install this specific Python. I don't want to downgrade my current Python 3.9, just install a new one. How do I do that?
Thank you and have a great day!

It's in the AUR...

The general solution to install multiple parallel Python versions is pyenv. It is a standard Arch package.

Sidenote: porting from 3.8 to 3.9 is usually pretty simple.
