$ xrandr
 SZ:    Pixels          Physical       Refresh
*0   1280 x 1024   ( 382mm x 302mm )  *75
 1   1024 x 768    ( 382mm x 302mm )   75
 2    800 x 600    ( 382mm x 302mm )   75
 3    640 x 480    ( 382mm x 302mm )   75

i tried some different settings and driver but i could not get xrandr to give me other options for rotations...

Sorry to say this, but I'd RTM on this for a non-intel card:

wink

NVIDIA has almost nothing to to with the built-in extensions. They even bring their own AGP stuff. So don't rely on what works for free drivers and is mentioned in man xorg.conf too much. To put it simple, comercial binary bull... ah, at least it works. ;p
