[SOLVED] Arch ZFS Can not boot: cannot import 'tank': no such pool or

I'm sure I'm missing something fairly easy but I'm a little stumped on this one since everything seemed to be working.

I can't seem to boot my Arch VM any longer starting today, previous to that seemed to boot.

I'm running Arch ZFS on root, using a vfat32 /boot partition with the systemd-boot.
The error appears as the folowing:

Attempting to debug the problem I booted the archiso with appropriate zfs-modules mastered onto CD
I could mount the both the sda1 vfat and sda2 zfs partitions.
I reinstalled kernels and regenerated ramdisks with chroot.
I exported the pool and again tried to boot, however received same error.

Is there something else I should be trying?

So I'll mark this problem solved.

I needed to adjust the /boot/loader/loader.conf file to something like the following:

default arch
timeout 15
editor yes
auto-entries 1
auto-firmware 1

There of course had to be a corresponding arch entry within /boot/loader/entries/arch.conf

Hey, I seem to be having the exact same problem as you did.

https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=262968

Seems to have happened when zfs was upgraded to 2.0 from 0.8.5, no?

Anyway, can you explain more how you fixed it? I was using refind and/or grub, but i switched to systemd boot and copied your settings from in /boot/loader/loader.conf, but I am still getting the failure to import zpool and then the panic.  Any idea what the root cause was?  What setting specifically did you change that allowed your zpool to be imported again?  Thanks!

That topic was closed and deleted because you are using Manjaro. As you were told, Manjaro is not supported here.

Closing this solved topic to prevent further derail.
