Clonezilla m,ultiple drives to one

Hi all, my Googlefu is failing me.

I have, today, replaced my 1Tb Windows 10 spinner with an SSD. Dunno why, I hardly ever use it, but that's by the by.

As a part of my process, I re-tested my other drives (I still have two spinners in the system). For info, I have Arch on the NvME drive, /home on an SSD, a small SSD that used to have /home and can probably be re-purposed, now, the 1Tb SSD for Windows, and the two 500Gb spinners.

The 2 spinners are starting to give me SMART warnings, whilst the now replaced 1Tb spinner is in good health, so I figured 2 500Gb partitions on the 1Tb and remove the 500Gb drives before they fail.

I like clonezilla - it just works. But I can't figure out how to achieve the two drives into one using clonezilla. I know I could make images of the drives, but I want them as fully usable partitions. At least until I can afford at least one other SSD to replace the remaining spinners.

For info, the remaining spinners are data only, ext4 drives, but I really don't want to lose the data, and don't have sufficient backup capacity, so pre-fail action seems like the best option.

Can anyone point me to clonezilla instructions to clone each drive to partitions on the remaining and now redundant spinner?

Might be easier to partition the 1Tb into 2 and copy the 500 drives via rsync or dd. Clonezilla is great  but I find its use is best for cloning backup images you intend to keep but if you're just transferring files, you might as well just use rsync or dd.

You may be right. I like Clonezilla because it's quick, but perhaps I'll just resort to even cp -a
