I have a fresh Arch installation with KDE Plasma and SDDM. I have followed the wiki but can't make prime-run to work. I have tried making a explicit xorg.conf file as indicated for troubleshooting, but it doesn't work either. Now I have deleted the xorg.conf file and have no files in xorg.conf.d/, and this is the error I'm getting:
prime-run glxinfo | grep "OpenGL renderer"X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 152 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 24 (X_GLXCreateNewContext)

Serial number of failed request: 39
Current serial number in output stream: 40My Xorg.0.log in case it's useful:

Thanks in advance for any help!

[ 4.277] (EE) Screen 1 deleted because of no matching config section.
[ 4.277] (II) UnloadModule: "nvidia"Something bad abotu the xorg.conf, but please also see https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NV … de_setting and ensure the nvidia chip isn't deactivated by bbswitch or similar.
sidenote: please use eg. ix.io - the ubuntu pastebin service is terrible and requires an account to get the plain text.

I already have deleted the xorg.conf file, since manually adding it didn't work. Also appended the nvidia-drm.modeset=1 kernel parameter to my grub config file. It didn't change the output of prime-run. Here's the updated xorg log: http://ix.io/2NLf
I'm not sure how to ensure the nvidia chip isn't deactivated, can you help me doing that?
Sorry about the ubuntu pastebin, regular pastebin wasn't working for me and I didn't know any other service. Thanks for the tip on ix.io!

That's strange, since I believe I uninstalled xf86-video-intel. Output of "pacman -Qs xf86":

It should be running on the nvidia driver, right? How do I fix it?

Please post the complete file.
Also remove xf86-video-vesa (you never want to use that driver) and - if this is only a problem when rebooting (but you end up on the nvidia driver when restarting the X11 server) see https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ke … _KMS_start (also mentioned in the previously linked https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NV … de_setting )

Section "OutputClass"

MatchDriver "nvidia-drm"
Driver "nvidia"
Option "AllowEmptyInitialConfiguration"
ModulePath "/usr/lib/nvidia/xorg"
ModulePath "/usr/lib/xorg/modules"
EndSectionI uninstalled the xf86-video-vesa package, made the changes to mkninitcpio and regenerated the initramfs. Rebooted the system and now prime-run works! So I'm guessing it did solve the problem, right?

Yes, recent systemd versions boot a race condition (at least there're multiple "GUI does not works!!!" threads that all end in "try early kms")
Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
