[SOLVED] No sound kvm libvirt spice virt-viewer

Hi all,

After recent update of libvirt spice virt-viewer sound is gone. It worked perfectly before. Guest systems win10 and win7. Sound is ok if I connect with rdp, so it's not guest system problem. In pavucontrol playback tab there is no item for spice/virt-viewer. Does anybody have such a problem? Tried to google it no help and all the answers seem too old.

upgraded pulseaudio (14.1-2 -> 14.2-2)
upgraded spice-gtk (0.38-1 -> 0.39-1)

upgraded ibvirt (1:6.5.0-3 -> 1:7.0.0-2)
upgraded virt-viewer (8.0-2 -> 9.0-1)
upgraded spice-gtk (0.39-1 -> 0.39-2)

I actually tried to roll back packages (libvirt spice virt-viewer) it didn't help. So I'm not 100% sure the problem is with them.

The following solved the problem

sudo pacman -S extra/gst-plugins-good
