Xorg starts and ends normally, post your .xinitrc . Does bspwm crash? Do you get a coredump when checking with coredumpctl ?
Offline
yes bspwm just crashes and goes back to tty.
cat .xinitrc ~
export XDG_SESSION_TYPE=x11
#exec awesome
#exec openbox-session
exec bspwm
No coredumps found.
Offline
Might not be related to your issue but your ~/.xinitrc is incomplete.
Please read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xinit#xinitrc paying attention to the second note.
Offline
a) fix your xinitrc, see the 1st link in my signature
b) "exec xterm" and start bspwm from there - what happens? In doubt gdb it.
