[SOLVED]TouchPad stopped working after system update

I have Lenovo Ideapad Y700 and after updating the system yesterday my touchpad is no longer works!

can you check if it's working with the linux-lts kernel?, also what were the previous libinput and kernel versions? you can look them with

grep -iE 'libinput|linux' /var/log/pacman.log

I haven't tried lts kernel on arch before. is it as simple as installing it through pacman ?

also if i used it will it make any issue or conflicting with anything in the system ?

[SOLVED] Look at your laptop, press your function key, find an icon that shows a touchpad, press it while still pressing the function key, viola!
