Waiting for ACK before removing 99% of a (now obsolete) wiki entry

Hi all.

Regarding this wiki entry, I added a note on the Discussion section 4 months ago explaining how none of this is longer needed as the hardware now works out of the box, but no one has answered since.

I would like to remove everything in that wiki entry... but maybe it is not a good idea ("maybe" all that information is still relevant for someone using older kernels??).

Any suggestion?
