[SOLVED] HDMI plug / unplug events are not responded properly

Hi there,

Several weeks ago my laptop started not to respond to the physical events of the HDMI cable. So basically If I'm using;

- an external monitor (in single monitor mode), I have to switch to the built-in monitor before unplugging the HDMI cable otherwise the display stays blank and black.
- an external monitor (in joined mode), again I have to switch to the only-built-in monitor before unplugging the HDMI cable otherwise the display stays blank and black.
- built-in monitor, I have to open display settings and select the external monitor when I plug the HDMI cable. (I believe this one is happening because I strictly select the built-in monitor before unplugging the HDMI cable)

Re: [SOLVED] HDMI plug / unplug events are not responded properly

Everything just started to work again after;

rm .config/monitors.xml*
