Hi,
I have used two finger right click in GNOME for a long time without problems. After a relatively recent update (not sure when) two finger right click doesn't work, or works only once, on the window itself (top bar). After I open certain applications two finger right click works once and then stops working for the application. It still works like normal within the window, in the application itself, but I am not able to get the window context menu (Minimize/Maximize etc.) with two finger tap, I have to use good old right click to get to that menu. It's not in all applications, but quite a few. It does not happen with "core" GNOME applications like Gedit and Nautilus. This is a touchpad on a Thinkpad and I have not had any problems with it until very recently. Any idea what could be causing this?

Does this happen under both Xorg and Wayland?
If you're on Wayland, the fact that this only happens with some applications makes me think this could be only affecting XWayland clients. If that's the case, you could try downgrading xorg-xwayland and wayland packages, as they have both received updates recently.

Step 1 for any bug on GNOME like this is to disable all your extensions and try again.
