Bug tracker registration
This seemed like a newbie question so I put it here,
Do you have to be special to register an account with the bug tracker or do I need a jabber id, or is it broken?
I tried with 2 different email addresses yesterday but havn't recieved a confirmation email yet.

No, you don't have to be special, and you don't have to use jabber. A dev may or may not see this, so I'd recommend posting it on the ML as well.
