Kmail had been working well for months with my work email address (outlook.office365).
Early this week, it stopped fetching new emails.
I ended up completely resetting akonadi and recreated my kmail accounts.
I am still only getting a partial list (my emails since January are not visible in kmail), and when I try to check for mail, I get an error message:
That message is hard to read, but appears to be Select failed: A00003 BAD request is throttled, suggest backoff time
The account flips then to offline, and if I try to check mail and bring it back online, it often flips back to offline. Eventually it comes back online, but never fetches any additional emails.
I contacted our IT department and they told me that they were not aware of any changes that would affect IMAP access.
I set up Thunderbird and was having similar problems with email fetch from that account, but eventually, it fetched all my emails and appears to be working now.
Not sure what I can provide that would be helpful in troubleshooting this problem.
My Arch system is fully UTD as of 2/10/21.
