i'm trying to get into a webmeetup by run the world:

however, i keep getting
Camera or microphone is busy
Try close other apps using camera or microphone
there is nothing else using the camera (which i don't have anyway) or microphone.
i've tried this on both chromium and vivaldi. (i didn't try on firefox, but i don't think it is a browser issue).
runtheworld told me to clear my cache, but since the vivaldi installation is new this shouldn't have any effect.
the microphone and speakers work fine on other things such as google search and youtube.
where should i go to see the log/error files for this sort of situation?
