Feb. 6, I upgrade to latest Arch version and since then have had missing date and non-operational boxes on displays from brokerage company.
Updated to latest package from brokerage and have same results.
I installed the php7 pkg but problem was not fixed. /usr/bin/php and other files listed in PHP 8 latest news are empty.
2 questions: Is problem likely from the PHP upgrade, and if so how can php7 be installed and configured?

The current version is php8; you will have to install php7 from aur, if you don't want to change app to work with php8.

Several attempts to install php74 and was not successful, but learned a lot, and found a work around.
