I tried to install grip, and this is what I get:
# pacman -S grip
error: cannot resolve dependencies for "gtk-doc":
"openjade" is not in the package set
What could this mean? Searching the forums I saw a recent mention of grip working fine... well, it doesn't work for me

also have problems with openjade
[root@arch-box dio]# pacman -S gtk-doc
error: cannot resolve dependencies for "gtk-doc":

I dug through the CVS tree. openjade is now replaced by jade (and it looks like pacman should handle that eventually). I would recommend waiting a few hours and wait until everything went into the database, then updating the database with pacman -Sy. If afterwards you still have problems, then there is a bug somewhere.

Nice to hear that. I was having a show stopper while installing gnome. Lets see how it works out after couple of hours.

i fixed it by myself by change the PKGBUILD file. I changed from openjade to jade in dependencies. I works now fo me using abs.

Actually, I meant to add to my post something about ABS, but forgot ;-) ....

thanks for the suggestion, I got grip installed now. I used abs to replace openjade dependency in gtk-doc, and pacman worked for the rest.
