[Solved] Failed to retrieve gvfs-goa

Hi - I've been having an issue upgrading my gvfs suite of files for the last 4 weeks.  Every time I try to update them, Pamac retruns

Warning: gvfs-goa-1.46.2-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst: failed to retrieve some files

I've updated my mirrorlist and even changes mirrors, but GN.

I've searched and not found anyone else seems to be having this issue.

Thoughts on what else I can check?

Re: [Solved] Failed to retrieve gvfs-goa

First link works and 416 is a *very* odd error.
Can you download the link w/ wget and/or curl? => pamac bug.

Re: [Solved] Failed to retrieve gvfs-goa

@seth given your hint of pamac bug, I compared 2 different machines, Pamac was down version and not showing as needing an upgrade on the machine with the above error.  I selected a build of pamac, from within pamac, which updated pamac to the current version.  After that, the gvfs suite of file upgrade as expected.

Odd why Pamac wasn't upgrading itself.

Odd why Pamac wasn't upgrading itself.

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AUR_helpers - see the note above Pacman wrappers

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
