Hey!
Could anyone create a package for enigmail? That's the GnuPG-plugin for Mozilla or Mozilla-Thunderbird.
Here's the homepage of enigmail: http://enigmail.mozdev.org/

I think it would be easier to just install it yourself. All you need to do is click the URL in Mozilla, or download and run "install plugin" in Thunderbird.
Plus, Enigmail has their own updating system that you can run strait from the plugin.
But it shouldn't be hard to create a package, just a drop in (I think).

the problem is:
it needs to be compiled with the same gcc version as thunderbird itself is compiled. So the arch version of thundbird is compiled with gcc 3.4 and the binary package of enigmail are made with gcc 3.2.

I'm using the Enigmail binary from their site, and it works fine as far as I can tell. Of course, I don't have many friends with tin foil hats so I don't send that much encrypted email, so there could be some issues that I'm just not seeing.

emuranch: In case you didn't noticed, this thread is over 2 years old. Probably the problem doesn't exist anymore.

It still exist for arch64. I don't work due to the standard build. I'm currently adding a package to AUR.
