After upgrading systemd earlier today, I find the following warning in the log:
Dec 03 00:08:15 arch systemd[629]: -.slice: Failed to migrate controller cgroups from /user.slice/user-60001.slice/user@60001.service, ignoring: Permission denied
My user account is managed by homed. Is this warning specific to my setup?
I am aware that this is a warning and nothing seems to be broken but I would like to understand the issue.

Is the warning still present if you boot with the parameter systemd.unified_cgroup_hierarchy=true

Thanks for the hint. With this parameter, the warning is gone. I need to dig deeper into cgroups.

Sorry for necrobump, but I'm having this same issue.
Could you explain how (or where) to set the systemd.unified_cgroup_hierarchy parameter?
Thanks.
