Hello everyone,
I've got some issues using my touchpad for quite a while now.
Whenever I boot my system my touchpad won't be recognized (tested with xinput and libinput). When i remove and add the psmouse module (modprobe -r psmouse; modprobe psmouse) the device gets recognized properly and is fully usable. The problem persists for a long time already. I had added a script with the above commands to my i3-config, but sometimes it fails and I have to manually do it again. Also nobody likes such a dirty workaround...
Anybody got an idea where i could start looking for the cause of this weird behavior?
