I have two graphics cards installed.
nVidia 1050 TI and a AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
The nVidia card works fine, but the AMD card is giving me trouble
I believe I've followed these instructions correctly
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AMDGPU
But I appear to be at a loss. If I run clinfo I get the following

Try the package "opencl-amd" from the AUR. That package will download AMD's official driver package and then extract just the OpenCL library out of it. It works together with the open graphics drivers.
You have to remove your current "opencl-mesa" package manually, it won't be removed automatically when you install the other package.

Yeah I'm still seeing that issue. Now I'm wondering if I have an invalid set of things installed

Correct, your current setup is invalid .
remove all amdgpu pro packages except opencl-amd , then try again.
The clinfo output should look similar to this :

I reverted off the -git versions of mesa and it seems to have fixed that for me.

libclc/clover doesn't support your card.
The newest amd architecture in libclc 11.1.0 and libclc-git is gfx 906 .
Clover can be built to use spirv instead of native, but I have no idea how that performs.
As far as I know no one has tried that on archlinux, and it will take time to get that working/tested .
A better option is to disable clover temporarily for testing purposes .
Post ls -l /etc/OpenCL/vendors/ output .
It should list several files ending with .icd .
move or rename mesa.icd , then try clinfo again.
edit
I reverted off the -git versions of mesa and it seems to have fixed that for me.
That's because aur mesa-git always includes opencl support, while repo mesa has that as an option.

That is correct with your current setup.
The clinfo output doesn't look good for amd, it looks like opencl-amd 25.40 has no support for your RX5700 XT / navi10 videocard .
Platform Name AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing
Number of devices 0You should try older versions , i'd start with https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/opencl-amd-polaris/
(I found some reports online of people having succes with rx 5700 XT and that version )

Thanks Lone_Wolf. I tried opencl-amd-polaris and didn't get anything. Then I just rolled back a few times trying different versions of the opencl-amd and got all the way back to 19.30 version of the driver and then it occurred to me. Is it possible I just have too new of a kernel than what is supported with this driver? I see there were several breaking changes between 5.9 and 5.9.1

The kernel may be an issue as amdgpu-pro targets enterprise distros like ubuntu lts and RHEL .
amdgpu pro 20.45 release notes mention ubuntu lts 20.04.1 .
That version appears to come with the linux 5.4 kernel.
linux-lts in repos is now at 5.10, but 5.4 is in AUR . [1]
