Hi.
I'm trying to make a mining rig on arch with three GPUs. one 5700XT and two 6900XT connected on a aorus b550 pro ac mobo with an ryzen 3700X connected to it.
my first problem comes when trying to run ethminer or teamredminer witch both only detect 1 GPU, the one pluggen on first PCIe x16 slot.
clinfo output with opencl-amd driver detects me only 1 gpu :

ICD loader Profile OpenCL 3.0with rocm-opencl-runtime results are the same. When run clinfo with opencl-mesa driver, all GPUs got detected with cl version 1.1 who isn't supported to mentioned miners.
AFAIK rocm-opencl-runtime CL driver needs PCIe with atomics support, but seems to my mobo only support it on first PCIe X16 slot, and reject thre other 2 cards as dmesg show:

As you can see, 2nd and 3rd GPUs goes through a PCIe switch, then go for the B550 chipset (i suppose it acts like another PCIe switch) and then go to the CPU.
My questions are: why opencl-amd looks like need PCIe atomics same as rocm? why in windows are all GPUs detected and run opencl without any problems? is there any other way to do it work under linux? will AMD change this opencl-AMD driver requirements? maybe I missed something?

Try taking out the 5700XT .

1. A recent post on phoronix forums by Bridgman [1] mentions that opencl-amd now uses rocm code for opencl .

That device appears to be your 5700XT[1] while your 6900XT should be listed as 1002:73bf[2] .
Try taking out the 5700XT .
I missed to show both GPUs errors who is connected through the chipset:
kfd kfd: skipped device 1002:731f, PCI rejects atomics
kfd kfd: skipped device 1002:73bf, PCI rejects atomicsNo matter if 5700XT is unplugged from the system. any gpu connected to primary PCIex16 slot got detected, the rest is not, showing "rejects atomics" in dmesg.
However, this tests are made using opencl-amd 20.45 but thanks to your help, the bridgman's post on phoronix show a relevant info:
#1 - as you might have seen with the inclusion of ROCR-based OpenCL in the 20.45 AMDGPU-PRO packaged drivers...
So I've tested with a previous version of opencl-amd, ver. 20.40 from here:
Once I did makepkg and install this version all seems to work as expected, all GPUs got detected by clinfo:
