[solved] Headphone jack detection broken since kernel 5.9

I have an AMD motherboard with integrated ALC892 audio. Ever since upgrading to kernel 5.10, jack detection has been broken, and pavucontrol shows the onboard audio as (unplugged)(unavailable) regardless to whether or not headphones are plugged in. This is broken with 5.10-lts and 5.11, but works correctly on 5.9 (which being unsupported I'd prefer to stop using). Does anyone else have this problem or know what to do?

Well it always helps to ask. Setting "options snd_hda_intel power_save=0" in /etc/modprobe.d makes it work correctly.
