Does NVIDIA actually turns off with optimus-switch?

I've got optimus-switch (not manager) and while in Intel only mode I can do this:

modprobe bbswitch
cat /proc/acpi/bbswitch

result is

0000:01:00.0 ON

Does this actually mean that NVIDIA card is still on?
