Hello everyone,
I am having trouble figuring out which drivers I should install and how to make specific apps use my gpu instead of my integrated cpu graphics. I have already installed these packages:
egl-wayland, libvdpau, nvidia, nvidia-utilsI tried running Minecraft and its stuck on 60 fps and below.. is there something I must install in order to disable vsync for apps like minecraft. Since my laptop has hybrid graphics (intel-cpu, nvidia-gpu) It could be that its also using intel graphics by default. How can I change that?

Cool but I have a 1050 mobile, and the wiki does not display additional drivers for mobile cards... am I supposed to install the drivers for normal 1050 cards?

All drivers are a combined set including support for every GPU supported by that driver. There are no different versions for distinct cards. The main driving force here is the general system architecture, all 10xx cards work with the same driver code (in theory, there are likely small differences here and there but in general what you care about is whether a driver supports the specific architecture. The current nvidia driver supports everything released down to Kepler (780ish) if your card is newer you can use those same drivers.
