[SOLVED] I want to add blur to background
Can anyone tell how to blur background of the windows.
I am running xmonad via xinit with picom-jonaburg-git and it seems to blur any windows as a whole including the text and the graphics...

I'm not sure what you mean by blur, do you mean partial transparency? But in any case, you cannot do this with a compositor (on it's own). This would have to be configured at the client level: each individual program would have to be configured for it. Theoretically, a toolkit could be configured for this, and that would apply to all programs using that toolkit, but I'm not aware of any options for this in GTK or QT.
