[SOLVED] duplicated screen problems nvidia/intel optimus configuration

Hello there,

I have an MSI GL63 8SD-270XES with both an Nvidia and an Intel graphic cards. I used to run it with Bumblebee but recently I wanted to run Vulkan/steam-play so I decided to switch to PRIME following the Nvidia optimud guide: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NV … er_offload

Everything when right, I disabled all bumblebee-related configuration and uninstalled/disabled those packages/kernel modules that I didn't need anymore. Everything works just right with Vulkan (this is my Vulkan info output: https://gist.github.com/Pac0x73706f7468 … d99b098f9) but I've found two issues after this change.

1. For some reason, my SDDM session manager started acting weird when the laptop is blocked, showing a "second, small-duplicated screen" on the upper left corner (See this screenshot: https://i.ibb.co/VBJMw3d/2021-03-11-17-52.png)
2. When I try to share my screen on slack or similar meeting software there is some kind of "flickering" issue where people say that they could see my desktop but the image isn't continuous as if there were multiple screens sending the signal simultaneously.

I'm not sure where to start investigating to solve this, I don't even know how to name this problem.

Any help would be strongly appreciated.

From there I've found that there seem to be two available screens (maybe one for each card) but I'm not sure if this is supposed to be like that or not.

What's in your xorg config ? What happens if you remove both that config and xf86-video-intel ?

Thanks for answering V1del, that just worked!

I thought that I would still need Intel drivers as I am using the intel card...

Also, just in case this helps anyone, this was my Xorg configuration, I have to admit that I don't remember having generated it. I probably did that wile configuring bumblebee long ago... but still, It work fine without this configuration so I've removed it.
