cannot upload avatar

I try to upload my avatar from local drive but it doesn't appear in my profile.
JPEG image 75x75 ~1,9KB. What's wrong?

There has been a problem with that for a long time, and it still goes on unfixed. I don't know what the issue is, and I'm pretty sure dtw is aware of it.

What you can do is upload the image to a server somewhere, and give phpbb the url for the image. That's how I did mine at least.

It's a known issue. The 1st option wasn't working when I joined Arch 2 years ago. The 2nd one stopped working several months ago. The problem is that the permissions on the forum server are wrong so the avatars can't be uploaded to it. Even if they are fixed, they keep getting bad.
That's why the 3rd option was added.
