Minimal DEs like plasma-desktop

Hello,

Are there any other DEs that offer a minimal installation package? Similar to how plasma offers a standard plasma package as well as a minimal plasma-desktop package?

plasma-meta would be a big chungus of a metapackage, since it pulls a lot of things.

Something like plasma-desktop is mostly any WM alongside some additions.

You can pick different things and put them together to make your own “DE” if it’s desired.

You can pick different things and put them together to make your own “DE” if it’s desired.

That's what I do with Gnome, instead of gnome or gnome-extras I just do this and have a small Gnome installation:

pacman -S gdm, gnome-control-center, gnome-tweaks, gnome-terminal, nautilus

and go from there if I need more stuff like maybe file-roller (zip like), eog (image viewer)
