Pulseaudio Equalizer not working after installing PulseEffects

I have tried to uninstall PulseEffects and Pulseaudio Equalizer, but to no avail.

After activating the equalizer, the sound does not change at all.

Pulseaudio Equalizer does not even appear as an input or output in Pavucontrol.

I believe it is a problem with sound inputs in the system. Does anybody know how to solve this?

PulseEffects needs PipeWire instead of PulseAudio now, perhaps that has something to do with it. Have you rebooted yet to start PW?

Anyway, I think you should follow the installation steps at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PipeWire and reboot and then check with "pactl info" that PW is running. If PW works, PulseEffects should work. And probably that equalizer too.

try to remove the ~/.config/PulseEffects/ and restart the PulseEffects. It works for me

After installing PulseEffects, you should use the PulseEffects equalizer, not PulseAudio's.
